    Faith, Freedom, and Gratitude:

Honoring Our Veterans at 250 Years

On this Fourth of July, as our nation celebrates 250 years of independence, we give thanks to Almighty God for the blessings of freedom and the men and women who have faithfully served to protect it. Our veterans embody courage, sacrifice, and devotion to something greater than themselves. In gratitude, we honor their service, remember those who gave their lives, and pray that God continues to guide and sustain our nation in the years ahead.

The Declaration of Independence was Written to Be Spoken Aloud 250 Years Ago

Be sure to show up early to hear Judge Fritz Faulkner read the Declaration of Independence and again in the afternoon when John Hancock reads the Declaration of Independence Aloud.

Two hundred and fifty years ago, ordinary citizens stood in town squares to hear this text and decide the future of liberty. Today, we stand together in that same tradition of self-governance and civic responsibility.

America's 250th birthday is a milestone of resilience. Reading this document reminds us that democracy is not a finished monument, but a continuous act of courage, dissent, and hope.

Cowboy Bob - The Legend of His Lasso Tricks

Cowboy Bob doesn’t just do lasso tricks — he turns them into a kind of frontier magic show that pulls kids straight into the world of wide‑open ranges, dusty boots, and big Texas skies.

On America's 250th birthday, flags will line the roadways, kids will be laughing and playing and looking for Cowboy Bob, the local legend with a lasso that moves like it has a mind of its own.

While Point Blank buzzes with music, barbecue smoke, and the kind of joy that only small‑town Texas can produce, Cowboy Bob will be twirling his lasso with tricks that defy gravity.

Cowboy Bob’s rope doesn't just spin, it sings! (Cowboy Bob can sing too.)

    • He cracks his lasso like lightning.
    • He loops it into perfect circles big enough to walk through.
    • He teaches the children patience as he kindly shows them a few of his lasso tricks.

Kids gasp. Grown men grin. The audience takes it in.

And every time he finishs a trick, Cowboy Bob points upward—not for applause, but in gratitude. “The good Lord gave me these hands,” he says, “and I aim to use ’em well.”

    God Bless!

Flag Retirement Ceremonies: Honoring Old Glory

Bring your worn and torn flags that have seen better days so they can be retired respectfully.

Flag retirement ceremonies hold a profound significance in American culture. They are not just a procedure for disposing of a worn-out flag; they are a respectful tribute to an emblem that symbolizes the nation's values, history, and sacrifices. A flag retirement ceremony is conducted to ensure that Old Glory, as the American flag is affectionately known, is honored in its final moments. This process reflects the deep respect and patriotism felt towards the flag, acknowledging that even as it reaches the end of its service, it deserves a dignified and respectful conclusion.
